Bordi Amerikan i Komisionerëve për Misionet në Vendet e Huaja ka qenë ndër lëvizjet e para e cila luajti rol shumë të rëndësishëm në themelimin e Lëvizjes Protestante ndër shqiptarë, por edhe në vizionin për një arsim të mire për kombin shqiptar.
